I had a good old laugh on the way to the ring - we blew by a couple of Brits on tourers luggaged up with pillions at about 160mph down the B258.
Guy came round the outside of one poor bugger on a zxr1100, leaving a massive black line off his R1 right in front of him. The poor chap was shaking his head as I came by at the same speed, and I could just see his thought process:
"Look at that wanker, thinks he's bloody Guy Martin"

Nice. But... what's up with the blinkers? Did you guys actuallly turned them on on purpose before passing someone or was it the old-guy-wearing-a-hat-in-a-mondeo syndrome?
Also, what is the penalty for overtaking on the right?

yes..it means the person you are overtaking is in no doubt that you are coming passed.. and if you notice a few people indicate to teh right.. shpowing us that trhey have seen us, and that they intend to stay right to let you pass..
Passing on the right, if spotted and reported by the right people can result in a track ban for that day or longer.. and can also be reported to teh police as it is a driving offence.. especially if it results in an accident or endangering someones life

This is the bit that's going to be the hardest to get my head round. Think I'll have to tape a big feck-off arrow to me clocks when I go there in July with my mates from Flying Sparks.
